Yeah, I manage to screw it up on the third day. Bad work day, I basically just fainted when I got home.

Day 75: Weird looking fruit

They look totally weird to me. Mine looks even weirder, cause I botched it.

I chose mangosteen because it reminds me of one Pokemon, but I'm too sleepy to remember the name. Tomorrow.

Nuts are not considered weird looking. Nor fruit.

Hopefully I'm doing this right, so let's start off lasagna monday with a floating bear.

Day 72: The claw

I have being drawing crows for the last three hours. They are such magnificient creatures.

"Ugly duckling", or one of my favourite birds...and fairy tales.
I used this photo as a reference. So cute.

Day 53: The claw

After the toil with colorful flamingo, it's my second attempt in coloring battle. I began drawing talons only, but deciced to redraw the rest of this cool hawk image.
What is difficult for me, is that my eyes do not see what color on the photograph  really is. I shift it darker or brighter, but hardly ever hit the right one. I guess that also comes with training of the eye.

The next weekly theme is: FOOD

Day 71: Baby bird

I have spent whole caturday drinking painkillers, sleeping and then taking some more painkillers. Will it ever end? During one short painless period, I doodled random baby bird - or "that's one fat bird" as my bf proclaimed.

It's reminds me of cuckoo bird, it's funny how it raises it chicks, lazy bastard.

"The naked, altricial chick hatches after 11–13 days. It methodically evicts all host progeny from host nests. It is a much larger bird than its hosts, and needs to monopolize the food supplied by the parents. The chick will roll the other eggs out of the nest by pushing them with its back over the edge. If the host's eggs hatch before the cuckoo's, the cuckoo chick will push the other chicks out of the nest in a similar way. Day 52: Baby bird

I didn't know which one to choose, baby chick or a duckling. Well, the most fluffy baby won!

Day 70: Flamingo

Spent waaaaay too much time on this speedpainting-almost 2 hours. Changed my mind a lot.
Also, temperature.

Flamingo is the type of bird I would not like to meet in dark. I never noticed that they are actually pretty creepy. Creepy in pink.
